The Thor Motorhomes have a big tire and the only hitch mounted spare tire carrier we have for it is the Roadmaster Hitch Mounted Spare Tire Carrier w/ 2" Receiver Opening item # RM-195225. This carrier holds 16" to 24-1/2" spares with any bolt hole pattern and fits a 2" hitch.

The Dutton-Lainson Offset Trailer Spare Tire Carrier # DL22120 is indeed designed for wheel sizes of 9- to 14-inches. It is not recommended for 15-inch tires due to the reduced ground clearance from mounting this large a tire on a typical-height trailer.

The distance from where the Bumper Mounted Spare Tire Carrier - U-Bolt Mount, item # TR-1, will mount to the top of the bumper to the top of the spare tire carrier is 13-1/8 inches. There is a metal tab on the back of the spare carrier that rests on the top of the bumper when mounted.
You will need to keep in mind that the spare tire will mount to the carrier and will stick up 1/2 of the overall diameter of the tire from the center of the tire mounting location.

I spoke with Stromberg Carlson and they do not have a stated weight capacity for the TR-2 spare tire carrier. They said it can be used with trailer or travel trailer spare tires, but should not be used to carry spares for powered vehicles like cars, trucks or RV/Motorhomes.

I spoke with my contact at Curt Manufacturing about Hitch Mounted Spare Tire Carrier, # c31006. He stated that it will hold your spare provided that the trailer hitch on the front of your vehicle is also capable of supporting the combined weight of the spare and the carrier.

The Curt Cargo Carrier you mentioned, part # C18150 has a fixed shank that is 11 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the nearest part of the carrier, which will most likely be enough to clear your spare tire. Just to be sure, I would recommend taking some measurements to confirm.

If you can lighten your bikes down to 75 lbs total then the Thule Spare Me 2 Bike Rack item # TH963PRO will work. This is our highest capacity spare tire bike rack. It will work with all current vehicles with factory rear-mounted spare tires. It fits tires up to 12.5" wide x 33" in diameter. As you can see in the photo, the bolt holes of the # 63056 and the # TR-1 and # UF15-954730 will not match up.
Although you could drill additional holes in the tire mount that would match up with those of the pintle mount, the two pieces really are not meant to work together.

The main difference between the Roadmaster Hitch Mounted Spare Tire Carrier item # RM-195125 and item # RM-195225 is the size of tire and increased capacity for flat towing. Item # RM-195125 tops out at 6,000 lbs and is limited to a 16-1/2" tire and item # RM-195225 goes all the way up to 10,000 lbs and is rated for 16" - 24-1/2" wheels, including duallys, that have any lug pattern.
